Chris has worked within the Fitness industry for over 9 years. His passion for strength & conditioning was fuelled when he competed in the sport of Crossfit. Understanding the necessity for effective coaching and programming protocols to enhance athletic development, Chris wanted to specialise in Strength & Conditioning.

Since then, Chris has gone on to complete a great number of CPD courses in Strength & Conditioning, Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting, Kettlebells, Periodisation, Nutrition and more.

Over the years, Chris has had the pleasure of coaching a great variety of clientele. From total beginners wanting to improve their lifestyle with effective training protocols, all the way to internationally competitive athletes. He has coached Nationally and internationally competitive Crossfitters, Judokas (taking bronze at the last world championships), Hockey Players, National level Olympic Weightlifters, National level Skeleton athletes (hoping to make the Olympic squad) and Tennis athletes.

Chris has competed at high levels in Crossfit (both individually and with a team) and Olympic Weightlifting. Most notably Chris competed at the 2014 English Championships, where he hopes to qualify for again this year.

It’s coming up to 12 weeks since I initially met Chris for my consultation and I am already smashing through PB’s with no sign of slowing. Before this I was in a perpetual cycle of spending 3 months in the gym, 18 months off, 3 months in the gym, 18 months off. I booked up several months of personal training with Chris, with the aim of improving my Crossfit technique in many of the Olympic lifts, which would, in the long term, help me improve my overall strength. Chris stripped everything back to the basics, working me through each step of the lift bit by bit, slowly improving my confidence, over the weeks, to lift more than I would have ever thought I could. Chris also looked at my diet to help me loose some fat, gain muscle and improve my overall Crossfit performance. According to Chris, my usual Chocolate Orange for breakfast every morning isn’t going to help with any of that!!! Chris would review my diet, weight and body measurement each week, and I can honestly say, my approach to food has completely changed. I feel full for much longer, my energy has increased substantially, I have lost weight and increased my muscle. No more Chocolate Orange for me….ok, maybe just on cheat days!
